Martha Strickland Price's Obituary
Martha S. Price, 86, of Mt. Dora passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016. Mrs. Price was born November 8, 1929 in Wildwood to Lewis Wayne and Maud Lee (Manning) Strickland. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She has lived in Florida all of her life and moved to Mt. Dora in 1985. Martha loved the beach, reading and watching old westerns. Survivors include her children, Karen and George Boone of Wildwood, Lance and Audrey Watkins of Lake Panasoffkee, Layle and Tony Bennett of Leesburg and Renee’ Price of Jacksonville; sister, Audrey Ross of Tampa; brothers, Jim Strickland of Meridian, Idaho and Pete Strickland of Syracuse, Utah; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Friday, July 1, 2016 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1875 Mount Vernon Rd, Leesburg. Visitation will be in the church from 10:00 – 11:00am and the interment will follow the service in Greenwood Cemetery, Wildwood.
