Martha Mary Meadows' Obituary
Martha Mary Meadows, 72, of Wildwood, FL passed away Monday, October 2, 2017. Mrs. Meadows was born June 18, 1945 in Gregory, MI to Robert R and Isabell J. (McNicol) Johnson. She was a retired nurse and moved to Wildwood in 2008 from Manchester, MI. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wildwood and was the social coordinator (or “butterfly”) in Parkwood Ltd. Martha loved making jewelry and spent hours creating beads into works of art. Survivors include her loving husband of 25 years, Richard; children, Jennifer Brewer (Tim) of Milan, MI, Ted Haeussler (Cynthia) of Gatewood, MO, Tom Haeussler (Michelle) of Brooklyn, MI, Stephen Haeussler (Keri) of Lewiston, MI; stepchildren Lea Meadows of Milan, MI and Jeff Meadows of Brownstown, MI; 13 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and another on the way. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Amy Marie Haeussler, siblings, Martin Johnson and Cathy Murphy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00am, Friday, October 27, 2017 in the St. Andrew Catholic Church in Saline, MI with visitation from 10:00am to 11:00am. Following the mass will be a luncheon and the interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Manchester, MI. Flowers may be sent to the church or donations in Martha's honor may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, www.cshospice.org or Hospice of Michigan, http://www.hom.org.
