Martha D Richie's Obituary
Martha D. Richie, 90, Oxford, Florida, went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2012 in the Villages, Florida surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Richie was born on February 22, 1922 in Harrison, Ohio to her parents Ferdinand and Hilda Duwel. She was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church of Wildwood. Mrs. Richie was a retired Sumter County School teacher and a proud veteran who served during World War II in the U.S. Army as a W.A.C. She moved to Oxford in 1957 from Central Florida and was a member of The Council of Catholic Women and she was a State Ombudsmen with Nursing Homes. She is survived by her loving children: Darryl Richie of Oxford, FL and Chrissi Richie-Moye of Ocala, FL; a granddaughter: Abbi Moye of Ocala, FL. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 12:00 noon at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wildwood, FL.
