Marjorie Lois Knox's Obituary
Marge was born on September 6, 1924 to Vivian and Edward Ashton in Farmington, Illinois. She graduated from Farmington High School at the age of 16. She married Walter B. Knox on January 3, 1943, and they had 2 daughters: Marilyn (Tom) Anell and Linda (Randy) Rimington, both of The Villages, Florida. Her grandchildren include Julie Anell of Glendale heights, Il; Brian Anell, Knoxville, Il; Todd (Ann) Rimington, Elmhurst, Il; Laura (Rudy) Jaime of Prescott Valley, AZ. She was very proud of her 6 great-grandchildren. Marge and Walter lived most of their lives in Maquon, Il.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 3 brothers. Surviving are 2 sisters: Eleanor Bourke of The Villages, Fl; June (John) Heckard of Bradenton, Fl.
Marge retired from Maytag Manufacturing in Galesburg Il, as a Quality Control engineer after working there for 24 years. She was an active member of Maquon United Methodist Church before moving to The Villages, Florida, in 2011. Spending time with her family was her greatest joy.
