Marion E Craig Jr's Obituary
Marion E. “Coach” Craig, Jr., 66, of Fowler, Mi passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013. Mr. Craig was born December 7, 1946 in Leesburg and wintered here since 2006. He was of the Baptist Faith but attended the Catholic Church with his wife. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in both Vietnam and Iraq, a retired corrections officer with the State of Michigan and had also retired from the U.S. National Guard. He was a member of the VFW Post 3733 in Fowler and enjoyed golfing, swimming and gardening. Survivors include his loving wife of 16 years, Irene; mother, Virginia Rogers of Wildwood; children, Jon of Grand Lodge, Mi, Ryan (Liza) of Owasso, Mi, Heather of Saginaw, Mi, Julie of St. Johns, Mi, Dale (Brenda) Wohlfert of St. Johns, Mi, Bob (Becky) Wohlfert of Maple Rapids, Mi, Jerry (Lorinda) Wohlfert and Jim Wohlfert both of Fowler, Mi; brothers, Terry (Robin) of Jackson, Mi, Jack (Diane) of Onondaga, Mi, David (Mary) Rogers of Barnesville, Ga; sister, Sandra (Steve) Bozun of Greenville, Mi; 18 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters. Visitation for Mr. Craig will be held 1:00-3:00pm, Tuesday, March 26, 2013, in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel.
