Marino Gonzalez's Obituary
Marino Gonzalez, 85, Avon Park, FL, resting in the Lord on June 12, 2013 in Sebring, FL. Mr. Gonzalez was born in Zafarraya, in the Dominican Republic to his parents Elias and Ramona Gonzalez. He was the co-owner of Dominicana Car Service and had moved to Avon Park 14 years ago from Richmond Hills, Queens, New York. He was a member of the Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church in Avon Park and was an Ordained Elder in the Seventh Day Adventist Church where he had worked to build several churches. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Nurys Gonzalez of Avon Park, FL; six sons: Marino Gonzalez, Jr. of Coconut Creek, FL, Dino Gonzalez of San Padre Island, TX, Osias Gonzalez of Avon Park, FL, Orly Gonzalez of Kearney, NJ, Raydy Gonzalez of New York City, NY and Asriel Gonzalez of Avon Park, FL; three daughters: Doris Rizek of Georgetown, DE, Dalinda Ayala of Avon Park, FL and Elizabeth Grey of Wanaque, NJ; one sister: Altagrazia Hernandez of Miami, FL. To call him a “Patriarch” would be an understatement, and also survived by Twenty five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. His Legacy of Unconditional Love will remain in each one of them forever. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 1:00PM at the Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church in Avon Park, Florida with a Visitation to be held prior to the service at the church from 11:00AM to 1:00PM.
