Maria C. DeGioia, 65, The Villages, FL passed away on December 4, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. DeGioia was born on March 26, 1949 in Italy to her parents Altieri and Maria Creta. She was a homemaker and had moved to the area in 2002 from New Haven, Connecticut. She was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed bowling and going shopping. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years: Pat DeGioia of The Villages, FL; two sons: Joseph Blake and Stephen Blake both of Wildwood, FL; a daughter: Victoria Blake of Lady Lake, FL; three brothers: John Creta, Louie Creta and Frank Creta; four sisters: Annette Melchiona, Fernanda Arduini, Marie Morytko and Sylvia Creta; three grandchildren: Samuel Torres, Sasha Blake and Austin Blake; a great-grandchild: Kianna Campfield and many loving nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, Florida with a Mass of Ressurection to be on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10:00AM at St. Vincent de Paul catholic Church, Wildwood, Florida with Interment to follow at Lady Lake Cemetery, Lady Lake, Florida.
