Margaret S. Barnes' Obituary
Margaret S. Barnes, 82, Beverly Hills, Florida went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2018 in Beverly Hills under the loving care of her family and staff of Citrus County Hospice. Margaret was born on December 16, 1935 in Sutton, Vermont to her parents Silas Scott and Mildred (Bean) Scott. She was a Homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Beverly Hills, Florida. She volunteered at Citrus Memorial Hospital for several years. She originally moved to Dunnellon, Florida in 1993 coming from Miami, and then settled in to Beverly Hills. She is survived by her loving children: Rebecca Shaw and her husband Robert of Beverly Hills, FL and Keith Barnes of Miami, FL; sister: Birdena Collins of Brownington, VT; three grandchildren: Nicholas, Anthony and Natasha; four great-grandchildren: Hayden, Craig, Jerika and Beau. She was preceded in death by her parents and her late husband Donald L. Barnes. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, FL and on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 9:00AM till 11:00AM at First Baptist Church of Beverly Hills, FL. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00AM at First Baptist Church of Beverly Hills, FL with burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations to be made to Hospice of Citrus County in Margaret’s loving memory.
