M.G. "Jimmy" Terry Jr.'s Obituary
M.G. “Jimmy” Terry Jr, 61 of Wildwood, FL passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025. He was born August 29, 1963, in Dade City, FL to Maurice “Jim” Gene and Annette Terry.
He had one sibling, Randy Terry. Jimmy met his loving wife, Connie of 38 years when he was 18. He then started his 33-year career with the Sumter County Sheriff dept at age 19 as a jailer, working his way up to chief deputy before retirement.
He was a doting father to his two children: Shelby Whitehead and Andrew Terry.
He was also survived by his wife, Connie Terry; daughter, Shelby (Dustin) Whitehead; son, Andrew (Larra) Terry; grandson, Jack Terry; mother, Annette Terry and brother, Randy Terry.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Terry.
He coached pop warner football and little league, as well as being in the front at ballet recitals and soccer games. The latest highlight of his life was becoming a grandfather to his grandson, Jack.

There will be a gathering of family and friends Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church 402 Oxford St, Wildwood, FL 34785.
