LuAnne Puckett's Obituary
LuAnne Marie Puckett, age 68, wife of Forgy Reese Puckett Jr. passed away September 1, 2016. She is survived by her husband and four children: Deborah Cardoza (Chris), Raquel Cervantes (Albert), Daniel Puckett, and Brian Puckett (Michelle). She has five granddaughters: Ashli, Hannah, Elisa, Maria, and Alexa. She is also survived by her mother Charlotte Meyer French, sisters Sherry Berge (Ken), Roberta French, and Marva French as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Her father Omer French, daughter Marlo and brother, LeRoy French passed away previously.
LuAnne lived her first 65 years of life in Montana and was always on the go. She was an active farm wife and devoted mother helping on the family farm as well as office manager for their tax and insurance business. LuAnne was involved in community activities such as raising money for the local fire hall, serving on the beacon community, helping coach little league, sewing, quilting, serving on the local church council and all their church functions, and whatever else she was called on to assist with or help organize. She loved sports and especially enjoyed softball and golf.
In 2013, LuAnne and her husband of 49+ years retired and moved to The Villages, Florida and spent her last years golfing as much as she could. She thoroughly enjoyed the neighborhood they settled in, spending their time playing golf, Corn Hole, Shuffleboard, card games and numerous other community activities. She was especially grateful for her friends both old and new.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 2:00-3:00PM with services beginning 3:00pm Thursday, September 8, 2016 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel, 410 Webster Street, Wildwood, Florida.
