Lorene B Smith's Obituary
Lorene Baker Smith, 90, Oxford, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, in Ocala. Mrs. Smith was born on June 16, 1922, in Ellenton, Georgia. She moved to Oxford when she married her late husband, Tommie Smith, in 1942. Mrs. Smith owned and operated a beauty salon in Wildwood for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Oxford. She is survived by her daughter, Deardre (Robert) Russ and her son, Roger (Chris) Smith, three grandsons: Brent (Amy) Russ of Whittier, NC, Brad (Jennifer) Russ of Oxford, and Daniel Smith of Key West, Florida. She is also survived by four great grandchildren: Alma and Chloe Russ and Drew and Cameron Russ. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. with visitation at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 11, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Oxford.
