Lloyd Clinton Goodman, 79, passed away Friday, January 6, 2012. Born Feb. 3, 1932 to William and Gladys Goodman in Birmingham, AL. He and his wife, Velma have lived in the Sebring & Lake Placid areas for over 20 yrs.He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of both the Church of God Living Waters and Placid Temple. He was a Mason and Eastern Star with last active membership in Masonic Lodge No. 145 in West Palm Beach, FL.Lloyd enjoyed fishing, hunting and wood working. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Velma T. Goodman; sons: Wayne C. (Jennifer) Goodman; daughters: Connie (Jerry) Crowley; Gina Goodman Wells; Samantha Goodman Washington; step-daughter, Deborah Peoples Bachant; sister: Margaret Miller; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.A memorial service will be held 1 PM Saturday, Jan. 21st at the Placid Temple Church of God –51 Lake June Road, Lake Placid, FL 33852.
