Linda Jean Tucker's Obituary
Linda Jean Tucker, of Lady Lake Florida, formerly of Staten Island, NY; Virginia Beach, VA; Lake Buena Vista, FL and Old Bridge, NJ passed away peacefully at home and into the arms of her Savior on July 2, 2016
Linda was born on September 20, 1950 in Staten Island, NY to the late Herbert ("Red") & Jean (Jenny) Tucker. She showed a keen interest in Beauty Culture from a young age - cutting all of her dolls hair. She went to Wilfred Beauty Academy of Hair and Beauty Culture. who knew that years later she would even teach there.
Linda always said that hair was her passion and would seek out the best education she could find in this area. In the late 70's or early 80's she was studying at Vidal Sassoon in London and Paris Her career led her to work in many interesting places and projects.
-- Movies -- Television -Theme Parks - Networks & went on the road with Broadway Shows... She was a Professional Hair Designer and this is what she loved.
In 1976 Linda met her First love , for it was then that she gave her heart to Jesus Christ. Her ministry was prayer and she was a great prayer warrior It was her desire that anyone she met would also meet her Savior and know Him in a personal way.
Linda was survived by her two brothers Thomas Tucker and his wife Carol; and Dennis Tucker and his wife Diane
There will be a memorial service in Florida on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 1:00 PM
at Fairway Christian Church CR466 - East of Morse Blvd (251 Avenida Los Angelos)
