Linda Kay Thomas' Obituary
Linda Kay Thomas, 70, of Wildwood passed away Monday, February 25, 2019 with her loving family by her side. Linda was born February 14, 1949 in Detroit, MI to Alexander and Thyra Janaulis. She retired from family services, where she touched many lives and moved to Florida in 2005 from Canton; MI. Linda enjoyed attending services at The First Christian Church (Disciples at Wildwood); was a member of the Moose, the AMVETS and the Continental Country Club Ladies 18 Hole Golf Association. Linda learned to golf on her honeymoon and she and Chet played thousands of rounds together. Linda also loved golfing with her girlfriends and was a 3-time Ladies Club Champion at Continental. She was extremely proud of making a hole-in-one on #17. Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Chet; daughters and their husbands, Marci & Ric McCulloch and Julie & Ed Gundry; brother and his wife, Thomas & Linda Janaulis; grandchildren, Owen, Stephen, Jacob, Katie and Abby. In lieu of flowers, for those wishing to honor Linda, please donate in her memory to the American Lung Association, www.lung.org. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 3 at 1:30 pm in the Magnolia room at the Continental Country Club. Casual attire.
