Linda L. Lewis, 76, of Wildwood,FL., passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Cornerstone Hospice, The Villages, FL. Ms. Lewis was born August 9, 1937 in Carlisle, IN to James R. and Marjorie L. (Joslin) McCarter. She was a Christian and a retired secretary. Linda moved to this area in 1985 from Oak Town, IN. She was a country girl at heart who loved to cook, play softball, go bowling and watch sports including basketball and Gator Football. Survivors include 2 daughters, Jolene Griffith of Vincennes, IN and Jana Lewis of Wildwood, FL; sister, Lois Taylor of Lake Wales; brother, Leon McCarter of West Terre Haute, IN; 2 grandchildren, Scott and Carissa and 2 great-grandchildren, Sara and Jenna.
