It is so very sad that Lila no longer graces this world. We had known each other almost 50 years, and I still remember the first time I ever saw her. It was at a quarry in Wisconsin. I was Scuba diving and she was sitting on top of one of the large flat rocks above us. She was all dressed up and very beautiful. I asked one of the guys diving with me..."Who is the mermaid?"
