Lewis A. Hensley's Obituary
Lewis A. Hensley, 91 of Sebring Florida, passed away on April 15, 2026 surrounded by his Florida family. Lewis was born May 4, 1934 in Kenvir, Kentucky. He served in the Army from 1956 to 1962. Lewis retired from the State of Michigan Department of Mental Health after 30 plus years of service. He and his wife moved to Florida in 1993, where he enjoyed cruises, playing golf, poker, and celebrating events with all his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Linda Hensley, daughter Christine Scholtus, son John Hensley, grandchildren Libby Brewer (Keith), Amelia Pizana (Joel), Ben Damon (Ashley) Caleb Fiser, Ryan Hart, Kyle Hart, Andrew Hensley, Evan Hensley. Great grandchildren Alex Pizana, Sage Pizana, Cooper Brewer, Noah Damon, Natalyn Damon, step grandchildren Zackarias Burke, Noah Blair, and Nyley Blair. He was loved by all who ever met him, a kind and generous gentleman.
