Leon W Davis' Obituary
Leon W. Davis of Sebring passed away Friday, December 14, 2012. Mr. Davis was born December 31, 1928 in Detroit, Mi. He had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He moved to Sebring in 1970 from Hollywood, Fl. and retired from the Highlands County School Board. He was a member of the VFW in Sebring, loved fishing and enjoyed wood working. Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Kathleen; children, LaDeana and Fred Wilson, Jack and Debbie Davis, Linda and Lane McGee, Sharon and Coop Coverdale; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Dad always had a smile on his face and a song in his heart. His love for life transcended through his family and friends. A graveside memorial service will be held in the near future in the Chapel of Peace in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park.
