Leo Nelson Haskell's Obituary
Leo Nelson Haskell, 94, Leesburg, Florida went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2013 under the loving care of family and staff of Lane Purcell Hospice House. Mr. Haskell was a Senior System Analyst for the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. He moved to Florida 18 years ago from Youngstown, New York and was of the Presbyterian faith. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a former Post Commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Youngstown, NY. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years: Iris Haskell of Leesburg, FL; four sons: Lee Haskell of Gaffney, SC, Keith (Molly) Haskell of Orlando, FL, James (Wanda) Labaire of Linden, NJ and John Labaire of Union Beach, NJ; three daughters: Patricia (David) McLamb of Clinton, NC, June (Larry) Wilfrid of Rahway, NJ and Kathleen Reilhmann of Carteret, NJ; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 10:00am at Page-Theus Funeral Home at 914 West Main Street Leesburg, Florida 34748. Burial will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with military honors. Online condolences may be made to www.pagetheusfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations in his loving memory to either Cornerstone Hospice at 2445 Lane Park Road Tavares, FL 32778.
