Lelia Stover's Obituary
Lelia Stover, 79, of Montgomery, Alabama, formally of Coleman, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Mrs. Stover was born August 14, 1934 in Virginia, the daughter of Edward and Sarah Jane (Belcher) Collins. She was a member of Shady Brook Freewill Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Stover moved to Montgomery after her husband, Billy Ray’s death 4 years ago. She loved reading and doing puzzles. Survivors include daughter, Rita LaBarre of Montgomery; son, Scott Stover (Lisa) of Clanton, AL; honorary son, Dwayne Smith of Montgomery; honorary daughters, Tina Wilson of Clanton, AL and Tammy Mears of Coleman; 6 grandchildren, Joshua Stover, Justin Stover, Anthony Mims, Tony Stover and Ami Diaz along with 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both her husband, Billy Ray and a son, Allan Ray Stover. Visitation for Mrs. Stover will be held 2:00pm-4:00pm, Sunday, December 15, 2013 in the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Monday in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel with interment in Florida National Cemetery.
