Leland Royce Williams' Obituary
Leland Royce “Lee” Williams, 92, of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida passed away December 9, 2025 in Cornerstone Hospice House in The Villages, Florida. Royce was born October 8, 1933 in Oxford, Florida the son of Albert and Annie Lou (Alsobrook) Williams. He was a graduate of Wildwood High School, Class of 1951. He worked for the FBI in Washington, DC for a short while, resigning to join the US Air Force (Korean Conflict), where he served honorably for five years.
At the end of his military service, he began a career in management and sales in the building materials industry that spanned fifty years in Ocala, Florida. Royce loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and deer hunting, GATOR football and golf. He also loved music and dancing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Annie Lou Williams. He is survived by his children, Barry Williams and his wife Connie of Ocala, Florida, Tammy Williams Beadle and her husband Richard of Homosassa, Florida and Beverly Williams Burke and her husband Billy of Ocala, Florida; also surviving are his sister, Deloris Richardson, and two brothers, Gary Williams and his wife Sherry of Oxford, Florida and Mabry Williams of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Royce was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 11:00AM at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home Chapel with a Visitation prior to the service on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 10:00AM till the hour of service at the funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Pine Level Cemetery in Oxford, Florida with Military Honors.
