Ro And Dan Healy
My husband and I just loved Larry, who we first met in the 70's (along with Larry Pressler and Jack "Elvis" Dyer) when I was working in Entertainment at Disney World and needed security assistance from Delta Airlines at the Orlando Airport when Rock Hudson arrived to participate in Disney's Candlelight program.
Although my husband and I moved back and forth to the West Coast throughout the years and didn't often get a chance to see Larry in person, that was the beginning of a long time friendship - not only for ourselves but for my feature animation executive - Max Howard and so many others whose lives Larry touched over the years. We don't know of anyone who didn't think Larry was a really special guy.
He was serious when he needed to be but ever so much fun with an amazingly great personality. He loved life and he loved his family and friends. We were lucky to be able to stay in touch with Larry for the past 30 some years - right up until he was recently only able to communicate via email but no longer speak. We are so saddened by his passing and wish we could be there today to celebrate his life.
Please know we are thinking of Larry, Brigitte and the family today and will always hold a special place in our hearts for him. We wish all of you our very best.
