I have had the pleasure of delivering the mail to lacy and his wife for the last 2 years. Sometimes he would be outside waiting for the mail and it was always a pleasure getting to talk with lacy and his wife. He always had a smile on his face. My condolences go out to the family. I will definitely miss him dearly he helped raise me early on in my life and was always there when I needed him no matter the hour, he was always my solid that always had my back, he was my grandfather but also the best friend I’ve ever had, I know he’s in a better place it just saddens me that I couldn’t be there in his final moments but I know he understood why and was proud of me either way. Relax in peace I know your home now, you will never be forgotten because you were loved by so many and you always had a great story to tell as well as having a sense of humor and you loved to laugh I think that’s why we we’re so close because we were so similar and inseparable, rest in peace.
Lacy was my father,he was the best. I was truly blessed to have him for a Dad. He loved church,God, Jesus. He always tried to help anyone. He was truly a man of God. I love you Dad, I will forever love you and miss you each day.
