Kenneth Robert Counterman, 56, The Villages, Florida passed away on February 4, 2015 at The Villages Regional Hospital. Mr. Counterman was born on December 17, 1958 in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania to his parents William J. and Betty Counterman. He had worked as a Mechanic for Havens School Bus Company in Sussex, N.J. He and his wife Elena moved two years ago to The Villages from Lafayette, N.J. He was of the Christian faith and was a proud veteran who had served in the U.S. Army. He liked to build mechanical items such as clocks, model steam engines and miniature toys; He was a “true tinkerer”. He is survived by his loving wife Elena Moiseenko of The Villages, FL; his mother: Betty Klingel; a step mother: Lois Counterman; a son: Roger Counterman of Quakertown, PA; a daughter: Kenlyn Counterman of Manayunk, PA; two brothers: Bill Counterman and Patches Klingel; three sisters: Karen Counterman - Staples, Cathy Hendershot and Angel Jankowski and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 12:00PM (Noon) at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, FL with visitation to be prior to the service from 11:00AM till the hour of service at the funeral home.
