Ken Bieneman, when I first met him, scared me. He was rough spoken and would sort of snarl at you, I learned over the years that if you gave it back to him as good as he gave it out, he had a certain respect for that. As time passed we became good friends and I liked him a lot, no, I learned to love him and I miss him very much.

Dear Karla...All of us here in Chicago are so sorry for your loss. My Dad and I were just talking of all of his remembrances of such fun times that you all had at your reunions with my Dad and Mom, Aunt Doris and Uncle Art, Aunt Jean and Uncle Ed and Aunt Shirley. He said it was always nonstop fun and laughs and he has wonderful memories of those times and Moe's great sense of humor. I too recall you two coming to Chicago to visit and some great laughs we all had. Those are the special times one must always hold in their hearts when a family member leaves us on their journey to heaven. I'm sure he is probably up there telling some great jokes to my Mom and Jeanne and Ed and making them laugh. But he is also watching down on you always with love. We pray that he has found peace and eternal rest. Take care of yourself and cherish your memories of him.
Uncle Moe was the only one I ever met that could make a kid cry as soon as they saw him! He was loud, mean, and would pick on you. By complete contrast Aunt Karla would very quietly say, "now Moe' and he would settle down and laugh. For years I was sure he was a gangster, the way he conducted himself. No one ever get the best of him. Until he met Duane. Duane & his family showed up at Karla"s family reunion and announced the he was Moe"s illegitimate son!!! When Moe got there, he discovered he had finally been had!! Every one loved it!
Another fond memory was the nite we forced him by shotgun to remarry Aunt Karla in memory of their anniversary in the back room of Cuzzin Jrs Saloon. It was a wild & fun nite.
You are too soon gone Uncle Moe. And you are truly missed. The light you shone on the earth will not soon go dim. The last of the truly tuff guys. Love you. Cindy
Wow...I still can't believe he is gone..but Praise God he has a brand new body now!! I have many fond memories of Uncle Moe...I was kinda scared of him as a small child..he had a strange sense of humor lol...example he would laugh that crazy laugh of his when we got hurt or fell...then he ask if we wanted to do it again!! Haha. Yep he was a mess for sure but so dang funny!! We all loved him...you just couldn't help it...he had his own unique personality! Aunt Karla my heart breaks for you...yall have always been best friends and I know he hated like heck leaving you...but you will be together again oneday. Sending love and hugs to you! Uncle Moe was one of a kind. He was quirky and funny and a little mean, but he was uncle Moe and he will be missed dearly. Sending love and prayers to you aunty Karla. I am here if you need to talk. Heaven gained an angel.
I never knew what lonely was until I lost my husband. It has been 2 weeks now and I don't know what I would have done without kind words from family and friends. We were married 60 years and I still remember how he looked when we married. I should be glad he isn't in any more pain.

Once my dad & uncle Moe took me fishing. I caught a little bitty bluegill & it had swallowed the hook. My dad worked & worked to get the hook out but no luck. So he got needle nose pliers & was working very hard to get the hook out. I was just a little girl but I laughed so hard & can still hear Uncle Moe laughing & saying"look at Frank trying to pull that fish's asshole out through his mouth." Bahahaha ! It was him at his best!
I also remember him putting me up on top of doors & refrigerators. I would cry. Aunt Karla was always saying "now Moe don't be mean".
Once when I brought a boyfriend over who was a busboy Moe greeted him then said "somebody give this kid a tray."
He always had to be first to serve himself food when we had dinners. We finally found out why once when I dropped a dessert that we had all been anxious to partake of on the floor. He laughed sooooo hard...because he had already put some on his plate. He was the only one that got dessert and he LOVED it!!!
He had a sick but fun sense of humor & his laugh was contagious.
