As far back as I can remember Keith was called “Pod”, shortened from partner, a nickname given by my Uncles. From a very young age Keith, Lynn Powell, me and my sister Gina would spend our summers with my Buddie, Papa and Uncle’s Jim and Don. On the shores of Lake Miona our days were filled with swimming, picnics and storytelling. We would all climb the low hanging limb of a huge oak tree, space ourselves evenly while Buddie pushed and pulled the limb for hours. As we swayed back and forth on our ship “Green Wind” she told stories of faraway lands, Kings, Queens and Pirates. As he made his final journey home, I’m certain he was greeted by our many family and friends in Heaven, “Welcome home “Podner”. Until we meet again ~ Rest in peace sweet friend.
