Kathryn M. Childers' Obituary
Kathryn Marie Childers, 93, of Coleman, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016. Mrs. Childers was born July 2, 1923 in Sumter County to G.R. and Arressee (Brantley) Mobley. She has lived here all of her life and had owned and operated the Childers Grocery Store in Coleman until retiring. Kathryn was dedicated to the Coleman United Methodist Church and loved going there. Survivors include her children, Doug and Shelia Childers of Wildwood, Steve and Linda Childers of St. George Island and Debby and Rick Lima of Coleman; siblings, Michael Houser of Pensacola and Linda Schmid of Leesburg; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 2:00 – 3:00pm with the funeral service at 3:00pm, Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in the Coleman United Methodist Church. Interment will follow the service in Adamsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Coleman United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 689, Coleman, FL 33521. On-line condolences may be shared by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
