Kathleen Mildred Babcock's Obituary
Kathleen Mildred Babcock, 64, of Wildwood passed away Monday, May 07, 2012. Mrs. Babcock was born May 6, 1948 in Port Jefferson, L.I., N.Y. She moved to Wildwood in September of 2010 from Cocoa Beach after traveling the country in a RV for several years. She was a member the First Baptist Church of Wildwood, a homemaker and had helped with the bookkeeping for Smitty’s Construction. She was a volunteer for the Caring Hands Ministry and belonged to the Red Hat Society and the Ladies of the American Legion. Survivors include her loving husband of 43 years, Smitty; her In-Laws, John and Betty Smithmeyer of Leesburg and 4 grandchildren, Ryan, Garret, William and Payton. She was preceded in death by her son, Smitty and brother Glenn Wilson. Kathy’s life will be celebrated Monday, June 11, 2012 from 10 AM until 2PM in the First Baptist Church of Wildwood.
