Kathleen Ann Hahn's Obituary
Kathleen Ann Hahn, 69, of The Villages, FL, passed away on May 8, 2026. Kathleen was born on June 19, 1956, in Elgin, IL, to her loving parents; Frederick and Shirley (Reinberger) Hahn.
Kathy spent most of her life in Illinois where she worked for over 28 years as a counselor for the State of Illinois Department of Corrections. Kathy retired in 2011 and eventually became a resident of The Villages, FL about 4 and a half years ago.
She was of the Lutheran faith and attended services at Church @ The Springs in The Villages. Kathy enjoyed spending her time amongst friends, swimming in the pool and playing card games, like Samba. She also had a tasteful eye, she enjoyed decorating her home and creating beautiful pieces of diamond art while also being an avid reader.
Kathy loved her family dearly and often visited her sister back home in Illinois. She also visited her family’s lake house in Michigan where she loved to be on the water with her great niece and nephew tubing and pontooning.
Kathy will be missed dearly by her sister, Juanita Baldassarra, her nephews, Jarrod (Ellery) and Jonathan, and her great niece and nephew; Gloria and Frederick, whom she adored.
Kathy is preceded in passing by her parents, a brother, Kenny and brother in law, Raymond Baldassarra.
