I did not have the pleasure of meeting sweet Kash. I met his mother, Shelbie, in nursing school. I sat next to her in the preliminary class. Then we were in the same UCF classes. Shelbie is the kind of person you meet and just feel fondness for because she is such a sweetheart. My heart is broken for her and Cody (and the rest of their family) to be going through this tragedy. You are all in my heart and prayers. Turn to your faith, family, and friends, Shelbie. When my mother was dying and was afraid, the Hospice chaplain told her, "Your faith is strong. Remember that Jesus is holding you in the palm of his hand.) So Shelbie, in the weeks, months, years to come, remember you are never alone. You have so many people who love and care about you, and Jesus is holding you in the palm of his hand.
