Julius L. Castagno's Obituary
Julius L. Castagno, 90, of The Villages, FL passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018. Mr. Castagno was born January 10, 1928 in Hartford, CT to Antonio and Rosetta (Perna) Castagno. He had served as an Army Medic on the front line during the Korean War. Julius received his PD from the University of Connecticut beginning his career as a Pharmacist and owner of Kensington Pharmacy in Kensington, CT. He was of the Lutheran Evangelical Faith and enjoyed, hunting and fishing. Julius also worked with the Coast Guard Auxiliary helping stranded boaters on the Connecticut River and the Long Island Sound. After retirement he moved to The Villages in 2010 from CT. Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Jean; daughter, Lisa Price of The Villages and grandson, David Price.
