Judith "Sharon" Aten's Obituary
Judith “Sharon” Aten, 68, of Wildwood passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012. Mrs. Aten was born to Henry and Bessie Roberts on October 26, 1943 in Brooksville and moved to Leesburg as a child. She graduated from Leesburg High School, was of the Baptist Faith, enjoyed antique car shows and had retired after over 25 years of being a surgical technician for LRMC. Sharon moved to Wildwood when she married her loving husband, David, 43 years ago. Along with David she is survived by 2 sons, Ronnie (Gwen) Lewis of Leesburg and Randy Lewis of Wildwood; 2 daughters, Tammy (Clinton) Smith of Wildwood and Kimber (Jon) Townsend of Wildwood; 2 stepsons, Butch Aten of Ocala and Michael Aten of Tavares; 15 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bessie Roberts, sister, Thelma Andrews and a brother, Jim Roberts. Visitation for Sharon will be held 6:00 – 8:00pm, Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in the funeral home with the funeral service being held 11:00am, Thursday, March 15, 2012, in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Sumterville Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Banks/Page-Theus Funerals and Cremations, Wildwood.
