Judith L Harris' Obituary
Judith L. Harris, 85, of Oxford passed away Sunday, April 02, 2017. Mrs. Harris was born April 14, 1931 in NY to Louis and Gladys (Phipps) Jaccard. She moved to the Oxford in 1981 from Hialeah, FL. She was a retired in 2001 after many years of owning and operating her Dog Kennels and breeding Greyhounds and other breeds. Judith was an Episcopalian and enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles. Survivors include her children, Rodney and Debbie Harris of Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Theresa and Carolyn and her dear friend and caregiver, Helen Mayes. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in the Pine Level Cemetery, Oxford. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Cornerstone Hospice, www.cshospice.org.
