Joseph Robert Rydant's Obituary
Joseph Robert Rydant, 77, Wildwood, Florida passed away on March 3, 2016 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Leesburg, Florida. Mr. Rydant was born on February 9, 1939 in Ayer, Massachusetts to his parents Joseph William Rydant and Beatrice (Dancause) Rydant. Mr. Rydant was a former truck driver, and has resided in Wildwood for 10 years coming from Worcester, Massachusetts. He was of the Episcopal faith and was a veteran who had served in the U.S. Air Force. He liked to work on computers and loved to cooking, collecting recipes and working on genealogy. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years: Carol Rydant of Wildwood, FL; daughters: Dawn Johnson of Massachusetts, Katherine Gewanter of Massachusetts, Pamela Langevin of Massachusetts, Traci Beeby of California and Mary Carol Miller of South Carolina; a son: Todd Blankenship of California; a brother: Richard Rydant of New York; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 1:00PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida with Military Honors. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations payable to Haven of Lake and Sumter Counties PO Box 492335, Leesburg, FL 34749.
