Joseph Raccuglia's Obituary
Joseph Michael Raccuglia, 66, of The Villages, FL passed away Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010. He moved to The Villages from Palm Harbor, FL in July 2010. He was a licensed real estate broker in both N.Y. and FL retiring in 1995. He enjoyed following the N.Y. Yankees and The Rays although his passion was show corvettes, for which he received numerous awards. He was the past president of the Lion’s Club in Valley Stream, NY. He was a founding member and VP of Make a Wish Foundation of Greater NY and a member of the Knights of Columbus.He is survived by his wife of 38 years Gail G. Raccuglia; daughter, Karen (Marc) Snyder; mother, Josephine Raccuglia; brother, Vincent (Roberta) Raccuglia; nephews: Frank (Wendy) and Anthony Raccuglia; grandchildren: Alex, Marissa and Elizabeth Snyder and his beloved grand-bulldog: Buckwheat.He was preceded in death by his son, Frank Joseph Raccuglia. A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday, Dec. 28th at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home. A mass will be held 10:30 am Wednesday, Dec. 29th at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wildwood, FL.
