Joseph Benjamin Kauffman's Obituary
Joseph "Joe" Benjamin Kauffman, 89 passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016. Mr. Kauffman was born September 6, 1927 in Wooster, Ohio to Benjamin & Mattie Kauffman. He was one of eleven brothers & sisters. Joe left Ohio as a young man then moved to Bradenton, Fl. in 1956 where he worked for Kauffman Masonry for 25 years after which he was employed 10 years with Tropicana. In 1990 he moved to Wildwood, Fl., where he worked for auto parts company for 15 years then retired. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, & golfing. In addition, Joe was a member of First Baptist Church of Oxford for 24 years. Survivors are sister, Mattie Troyer of Wayne County, Ohio, nieces, DaVonne Kauffman Miller of Wildwood, Fl, Mattie Hochstettler of Sarasota Fl., and nephew, Hank Kauffman of Columbus, Ohio. Joe also had many other cousins, nieces and nephews who live in Ohio. Visitation will be held 11:00-12:00 with the service beginning 12:00 pm Friday December 30, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Oxford. Interment be in Pine Level Cemetery, Oxford. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Oxford, P.O. Box 5, Oxford, FL 34484.
