Joseph R. Bradway's Obituary
Joseph R. Bradway, 87, Oxford, Florida, formerly of The Villages, passed away on February 4, 2026 at Cornerstone Hospice Mariposa House in The Villages, Florida. Joseph was born on July 12, 1938 in Bridgeton, New Jersey to his parents Charles G. Bradway and Bertha (Jordon) Bradway.
Joseph and his late wife Lois moved to The Villages, Florida 20 years ago from Stockbridge, Georgia. He was a proud United States Marine Corps veteran who served from 1960 to 1962. Joseph was of the Methodist faith. He and his late wife liked to go cruising on cruise ships to exotic destinations. Joseph was an amateur wine maker and had won several awards for wine making; while living in Georgia, He loved sports and was a fan of the Georgia Bull-Dawgs and the Tampa Bay Rays. Joseph loved to go bowling and had bowled several games where he scored 300. Joseph retired from Owens Illinois Glass as a Mold Maker with over 45 years of devoted service.
He is survived by his son: Jay Bradway and his wife Carol of Bridgeton, NJ; a daughter: Kim Berlee Bradway of Stockbridge, GA; a brother: Charles Bradway of New Jersey.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved wife, Lois Bradway.
