Another of our FAA Production Studio Crew (now Florida Aviation Network) has gone west. John Rock Rackastle joined the FAAPS in 1995. Along the same time became a FAA ASC (Aviation Safety Counselor) Prior to the FAASTeam and Reps. He was knowledgable and was called on many time to make safety / aviation presentations. He became our lead audio tech that worked behind the curtain to outfit the guest. Even then he always ask the guest.."Where are your FAA Wings". While at Simcom he was one of the best promoter of the FAA Wings program. In industry he was awarded the National Flight Instructor of the Year. In 2020 he was awarded the FAASTeam Rep of the Year. He was never a loss to
"cut up" at a gatering or crew party. More to follow. I remember in 2018 when he obtained his 6th (sixth) Master Instructor. Fellow flying Fez and QB .. You will be missed.
