John H. Popham's Obituary
John H. Popham, 90, Sebring, FL went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2013 in Sebring, FL. Mr. Popham was born on August 21, 1922 in Barnhill, Ohio to his parents Hayward and Florence Popham. He was a former Dispatcher for the Superior Clay Pipe Company in Uhrichsville, Ohio. Mr. Popham was a Veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army and was of the Christian faith. He moved to Highlands County 25 years ago from Uhrichsville, OH and was a proud member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Elks. He is survived by his loving children: Gale (Jimmy) Stull of Uhrichsville, OH and Greg (Linda) Popham of Mineral City, OH; five grandchildren: Bobby Phillips, Rachel Montero, Donnie Braun, Zach Braun and Dusty Braun; 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann and a sister Betty. Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 1:00PM at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Avon Park, FL with a visitation from 11:00AM till the hour of service at the Cemetery in the Mausoleum Chapel.
