We were camp neighbors of Butch at Hayes Bay. We always enjoyed Butch and Kathy. It was fun watching them pull up in their golf cart. We knew Butch was terribly lonely without Kathy. As much as we will miss him, we know he will be happy to be with Kathy. Craig and Georgie Veley.
butch was a very good friend of mine and my wife lori we worked together a lot in mutual aid calls for a lot of years . he also taught me a lot on the cause and origin team. we had a lot of great times thru out the years there will never be another os-400 like him he will surley be missed by many..go and rest now my brother fireman you deseve it
Learned alot from Butch over the years in the fire service and we had alot of laughs together! RIP my friend!!
Loved working with Butch on numerous C&O calls, and enjoyed conversation at fire service meetings.
