John Collins Macafee, 78, of Okahumpka passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Mr. Macafee was born April 15, 1936 in Wheaton, IL. He had served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He moved to this area in 1961 from IL. and was a retired Deputy with the Lake County Sherriff’s Office. He was a Seventh-
Day Adventist and enjoyed NASCAR and loved the Packers. Survivors include his 3 daughters, Chris Silva (Roberto), Ellie Gough and Gayle Smart (Sam); 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. John’s family will celebrate his life 6:00pm, Monday, October 6, 2014 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2452 CR 526 East, Sumterville, FL 33585.
