John "Jack" Anderson McCartney's Obituary
Jack Anderson McCartney, 86, of Leesburg, FL passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at his summer home in NC. He was born December 30, 1937, in Hartford, CT to John and Helen (nee Anderson) McCartney.
He retired from Pratt & Whitney on July 31, 1995. He was an avid golfer, shuffleboard and dart board enthusiast. Both Jack and Beverly enjoyed spending time together traveling in their many RVs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 62 yrs., Beverly (nee Tuttle) McCartney; sister, Margaret Hornbeck.
He is survived by daughter, Lori (Richard) Ivanicki; son, Scott (Sandra) McCartney; grandchildren: Ashley McCartney, Kylie McCartney, Jon (Katie Kinnaird) McCartney, Benjamin (Ashley Rogers) McCartney; great-grandchildren: Eloise McCartney, Emmett McCartney and Amaia Kinnaird and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home 410 Webster St. Wildwood, FL 34785.
A Memorial Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Pennbrooke Fairways Activity Center, 501 FL-44, Leesburg, FL 34748.
