Fehrman, John Mack's Obituary
John Mack Fehrman, 88, of Sebring, FL, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19, 2025. He was born on December 30, 1936, in Richmond, Indiana, to August Henry and Mabel (McKhann) Fehrman.
John proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, demonstrating honor and dedication during his time in the military. After his service, he went on to build a successful career as an airline mechanic with Trans World Airlines (TWA), where he retired after many years of committed work.
A passionate sports fan, John especially loved cheering on his favorite football team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
John was a faithful member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Sebring, FL, where he found spiritual strength and community.
He was preceded in death by his brother Jim, and sisters Esther, Mary and Helen and his beloved niece Patricia Marsh.
John is survived by his brother, Richard A. Fehrman; nieces: Kathy (Tom) Doherty, Jen (Thomas) Aud, Carol Fehrman-Lopez and husband, Gilbert, and Lisa Fehrman; nephew, Mark Fehrman; along with many great and great-great nieces and nephews who will remember him with love and admiration. Having no children of his own, he served in the capacity of Grandpa to Pat’s grandchildren, shuffling them to sporting events and after school activities.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Chapel, 854 Memorial Dr, Avon Park, FL 33825. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post 4300 in Sebring, FL.
