JoAnn Ramsey Crenshaw's Obituary
JoAnn Ramsey Crenshaw, 84, of Wildwood, FL passed away on April 7, 2025. She was born Friday, October 18, 1940, in Roanoke, VA to James Leonard and Lois Jo (Croft) Ramsey.
She started her teaching career at Oxford Elementary and retired from teaching at North Sumter Primary School in Wildwood, FL.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wildwood. She loved her Lord, her family, and teaching. She also loved reading, ice cream and a good cup of coffee.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Fred D. Crenshaw, Jr.; her parents, and her brother, James Marion Ramsey.
She was survived by her son, Mark (Susie) Crenshaw; daughter, Elizabeth (Rick) Woody; grandchildren: Kacy (Senovio Vega) Crenshaw, Micajah Crenshaw, Emily (Nick Provost) Woody, Landon (Emma) Woody, Elijah (Courtney Bowen) Crenshaw, and Jaycee Woody; great-grandchildren: Avery and Brenleigh; and many other loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel 410 Webster St. Wildwood, FL 34785 on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M, with funeral services following at 11:30 am. Interment will then follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
