Joan Pignone's Obituary
Joan “Sunni” Pignone, 73, of Oxford passed away on Jan. 28, 2011 in Mobile, AL. Growing up in Orlando, she graduated from Edgewater High School. She lived most of her life in several different cities in Florida. She was predeceased by her oldest son Matthew Crampton. She is survived by her children, Melissa (Phillip) Bright, Terry Lee (Carol) Crampton, Stephen Crampton. Her four grandchildren, Katlyn Bright (Brent) Peek, Christopher Bright, Jessica Crampton (Toby) Crum, Toni Crampton (Ronald) Whitehead. Two great grandchildren, Alexis Crum, Savannah Bright and two to be born this year. Her five Siblings, Frank (Nancy) Pignone, Pat Quilling, Terry (John) Kalange, Bobbi Pignone and Priscilla Pignone. Sunni was very active in her church as a Lector and Singer. She was a Charter Member of the Sumter County Eagles Aeries 4514. Sunni made family, friends & strangers alike feel welcomed and she enjoyed life to the fullest. She had a deep love for her Children and Siblings and a heart as Pure as Gold. A Memorial Mass will be held at St.Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in Wildwood on Saturday February 5, 2011 at 10:00 AM.On line condolences may be shared by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
