Jim "Mole" McClellan's Obituary
Jim “Mole” McClellan, 62, Oxford, Florida went to be with the Lord on April 18, 2016 under the loving care of his family at his residence in Oxford, Florida. Mr. McClellan was born on February 21, 1954 in Leesburg, Florida to his parents James Melton McClellan, Sr. and Mary Jane (McBee) McClellan. He was a former Warehouseman in the Telecommunications Industry. Jim was a lifelong resident of Oxford and was of the Christian faith. He attended the University of Florida for five years and was extremely proud member of the “Gator Nation”. He loved fishing and enjoyed taking friends and family fishing with him. He deeply cared for animals especially his two yellow Labrador retrievers Holly and Hallie. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years: Tambrie (Tammy Sparkman) McClellan of Oxford, FL; children: Christopher Sparkman of Concord, NH and Amber Sparkman (Juan) Leiva of Leesburg, FL; six grandchildren: Katlyn, Dylan, Kierstin, Ariana, Ariel and Devyn. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00AM at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, Florida. A Gathering will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 10:00AM till the hour of service for family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association in Jim’s loving memory.
