Jerrylea Williams Vaughn's Obituary
Jerrylea Williams Vaughn, 77, Wildwood, Florida passed away suddenly at U.F. Health Spanish Plaines Hospital in The Villages, Florida. Jerrylea was born on May 15, 1948 in Wildwood, Florida to her parents Webb Williams and Elise (Shuman) Williams.
Jerrylea was a native of Wildwood, Florida and was a retired Teacher from the Sumter County School District. She was devoted to helping students achieve good education by placing them in the right classes based on their needs. Jerrylea was of the Christian faith and was a devoted member of Encounter Church where she worked in the women’s ministry as well as helping wherever she was needed. She loved to work in her garden and go to Daytona Beach and watch the sunrise over the ocean. Jerrylea loved to be surrounded by her family.
Jerrylea is survived by her loving son: Troy E. “Tev” Vaughn, Jr. of Wildwood, FL; daughter: Debbie Vaughn of Wildwood, FL; six loving grandchildren: Chelsey Fraysier and her husband Nathanael Fraysier, Kelly Chamberlain, Caitlyn Burton and her husband Mason Burton, Emelina Vaughn, Dylan Vaughn and Austin Vaughn; four adoring great-grandchildren: Anthony Fraysier, Tripp Lycans, Chloe Burton and Addison Burton; many loving nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 41 years: Troy E. Vaughn, Sr.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 12:00PM (Noon) at Encounter Church, Wildwood, Florida with Visitation to be held prior to the service from 10:00AM till the hour of service at Encounter Church, Wildwood with Pastor Derrick West officiating. Burial to follow at Nichols Cemetery, Oxford, Florida.
The family has requested donations to be made to Encounter Church at 4714 East County Road 462, Wildwood, FL 34785 in Jerrylea’s loving memory.
