Jerry Martin Williams, Sr., 64, of Lake Panasoffkee, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016. Mr. Williams was born January 25, 1952 in Tallapoosa, GA to Duke and Ruby (King) Williams. Jerry was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He has lived in this area most of his life and was a retired business owner. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed restoring vehicles. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Ann; sons, Jerry, Jr. “Marty” of Marathon and Shawn of Gainesville; siblings, Frieda Williams of AL, Linda Johnson, Geraldine Lipscomb, James Bates and Edith Little all of GA; 4 grandsons, Ian, Shawn T., Logan and Noah. Graveside funeral services will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery, Wildwood. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org or Homeless Veterans, www.nchv.org.
