Pastor Jeffrey Diltz's Obituary
Pastor Jeffrey Diltz, 63, of Bushnell, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Pastor Diltz was born June 19, 1957 in Chicago, IL to Kay Diltz and Leah (Warren) Diltz. He has been a Pastor since he was 18 years old and he started an outreach called Firehouse Kidz after his son, Derrick, died in 2004 and continued to work with kids until his last day. He was currently working with the children at the Encounter Church in Coleman. Pastor Jeff had moved here in October from Iowa. Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Beverly (Farmer) Diltz; daughter, Donia Steele (Brett) of Bushnell; brothers, Bruce Diltz of OH, Michael Bembry of OH and Kris Kuening of FL; 2 grandchildren with a 3rd on the way, Lovelynn Steele and Detrick Jeffrey Manna Steele. Pastor Jeff’s family will celebrate his life 6:30 PM, Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in the Encounter Church.
