Jeanne Strickland's Obituary
Jeanne Kirkland Strickland, 63, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at her home. Born in Miami November 4, 1946, she moved to Wildwood with her family in 1962. A loving mother, nanie, and sister, she is survived by her daughters, Lora Ray Strickland (Paul) of Jacksonville, Shelbie Strickland Wiley (Lee) of Oxford, and son, Jeff Young (Michelle) of Columbia, TN, three sisters, Karen Kirkland of Dunnellon, Susan Gollobin (David) of Orange Park, Donna Demascio (Tony) of Wildwood, two brothers, Allen Kirkland (Cheryle) of Wildwood, and Gary Kirkland of Tupelo, MS. She was a proud and loving Nanie to her grandchildren Dustin, Chessie, Brock, Katie, Jake, Kelsi, and Kacy, two great grandchildren, Kyasia and Tyana, six nieces and four nephews. She is also survived by her loving life time partner Anthony Rish of Wildwood. Jeanne loved spending time with family and friends and fishing on the river. She was a Christian and member of First Baptist Church of Wildwood. Her charity was helping others in need and religiously supported St. Judes Childrens Hospital. For those who wish, memorial contributions can be made to this organization in her memory. Visitation will be 4-5 pm Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Wildwood with services following at 5:00 PM. On line condolences may be left at www.bankspagetheus.com .
